Why 100 Thieves released Avalanche, Froste, and Class?

American Esports organization 100 Thieves recently announced that they are parting ways with their content creation team along with Avalanche, Froste and Classify.

100 Thieves has long been an influential organization in various esports titles. They are deeply invested in a solid mix of talented rosters from League of Legends, Call of Duty, Valorant, and content teams.

The organization recently announced that Joseph “Mako” Kelsey, content creator for Avalanche, Frost and Classify, has left the organization’s content team.

The four streamers began to gain popularity on the Internet and in 2014 formed a content creation team called “The Mob”. They created content under two separate titles – The Mob and 100 Thieves.

Because of which they left 100 thieves.

Mako, Avalanche, Froste and Classify were best friends when creating content for Mob. But in December last year Mako decided to leave the team and that changed everything.

Mafia posted a statement on their official Twitter saying that Mack was leaving the team and returning to his hometown of New York.

Mako also stated that he needed time to create content to focus on mental health. He claimed that creating content was never his cup of tea. Although he did not elaborate on the future of his career, Mako was grateful for the community’s support during his time with The Mob and 100 Thieves.

After Mack left, the Mob team continued working for a while until they finally decided to seal Mob’s future. On January 31, 2021, the remaining members decided to go their separate ways. They realized that the void left by Mako only widened, and the bond they had shared for years was broken. The remaining members felt that they could not continue with the Mafia without Mac.

However, the remaining three members continued their work under the banner of 100 Thieves. But today, 100 Thieves also announced the release of three streamers to pursue careers elsewhere.

Although the main reason for their release is unknown, it can be speculated that it all started with Mako leaving Mob.
