Popular rapper Indian Red Boy was murdered on July 8 while he was in his car. Several videos have gone viral online showing a man talking to his friend on Instagram Live, only to be suddenly caught on camera.
Lt. T. Goetz of the Hawthorne Police Department said authorities received a call from the 14100 block of Chadron Avenue at 4:10 p.m. local time.
Los Angeles County firefighters said Indian Red Boy was dead when they arrived at the scene. Goetz says the rapper’s identity was confirmed by the coroner’s office, and his real name was Jerel Dijon Rivera.

Indian Red Boy had around 16.7 thousand followers on Instagram. He hails from California and his Instagram stories prove that he was close with family and friends. Following his death on July 10, fans took to Twitter to pay tribute.
Bharti Lal Boy’s shooting was recorded on video while he was working live on Instagram. He and his friend Capone talked as they opened fire. Capone posted a message in honor of his friend and shared a video of his dance. It is written in the text,
“LINDIANREDD I love you Gank.”
