J’Leon Love is a middleweight boxer who was in Jack Paul’s corner last Saturday. Love celebrated online fame overnight after a heated behind-the-scenes conversation with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
J’Leon Love made his professional debut in 2010 by knocking out Vince Burkhalter in the first round and currently holds a record of 24-3-1-1 (NC). In his last bout, J’Leon Love suffered a second-round TKO loss to former WBC champion David Benavidez in 2019. Love scored an unpopular split decision victory over rival 160-pounder Gabriel Russad, only to become Failed to review your drugs after the fight.

J’Leon Love has had a great past and is grateful to be where he is today. On the eve of his fight against Rogelia Medina, Love shared intimate details of his past in an interview for RingTV.com. Talking about his childhood in Michigan, Love said –
“It’s a blessing, man, it’s real. I can’t say it enough or too many times. It’s definitely a blessing … I was just a normal guy who grew up on the Inkster projects in Michigan. We called it ‘ Named the Saigon Projects. People who can build it. Inkster, period, has a lot of deaths. You know, it’s in the shadow of Detroit. There’s a lot of things going on in Inkster, Michigan that cause Detroit. are ignored.”
“But it’s definitely a scary place because of the murders and drugs and things like that. So that’s where I grew up. I had a rough life. I was in foster homes and things like that, so, you know, I went out on the streets like a lot of other people. You sold a lot of drugs, you know. I was just in a street mess.”
Showing maturity beyond her years, Love took responsibility for her nine nieces and nephews, who lost their father in the death of their brother in 2013.
