Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl continue the tradition of special versions.
The story, the Sanoh area and the whole adventure may be the same in the brilliant diamond and shiny pearl games, but there will be some difference.
Each set of games in the main Pokemon series comes with several other creatures, usually legendary and specific to each variation of the game. This time, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be part of more legends.
Exclusive version of the legendary Pokemon in brilliant diamonds and sparkling pearls
Of course, the magnificent Diamond and Shining Pearl mascots will be exclusive to their version. On top of that, it has been revealed that other Legendary Pokemon will also feature.
Keep in mind, this is only what has been discovered so far. Future updates may feature more exclusive versions of Legendary Pokemon that have not yet been released.
Exclusive Legendary Pokemon included in Brilliant Diamond:
- Dialga
- Ho-oh
- Entei
- Ryko
- Soycon
Magnificent Diamond will be joined by Legendary, Dialga, Legendary Beast of Johto and their trio master, Ho Oh. The last four will be available through Ramanas Park.
Exclusive Legendary Pokemon included in Shining Pearl:
- Rewards
- Loggia
- Articuno
- Zapdos
- Moltres
While Brilliant Diamond covers most of its exclusive Legendary Generation II Pokemon, Shining Pearl will cover its Generation I ones. Apart from the core mascots, the palakya, there are also the legendary birds of Kanto and their trio of masters, the logia.
Other legendary Pokemon in brilliant diamonds and sparkling pearls
Both games will feature many legendary Pokemon, which have no particular connection.

Some will be found in the main story, but some may only be available in certain situations. Many examples have been given earlier in this regard.

Mew will only be available if players have a Let’s Go Eevee or Let’s Go Pikachu save file. Jirachi will only be available to those who have a Pokemon Sword or Shield file saved.
