Video captures chaos as gunfire erupts in neighborhood near Cy Creek HS

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) – Multiple artillery rounds rang out in a northwest Harris County neighborhood Wednesday afternoon and a security camera captured a home moments before the chaos.

The video shows at least two dozen youths getting out of their cars. Some were shouting, some were walking, then five engines followed him.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded just after 3:30 a.m. to Mills Garden Drive and Perry Road, in the Willowbrook area.

Cypress Creek High School is next door to the neighborhood, and dismissal time is 2:50 p.m

A neighbor posted the video and gave ABC13 permission to use it. Another resident shared another video showing a teenage girl crying in pain on the doorstep.

Cy-Fair ISD reported that ABC13 was aware of the incident that took place off campus and “[The Cy-Fair Police Department] HCSO is investigating.”

No injuries were reported, the sheriff’s office said.

Locals told ABC 13 they’re worried about the violence ending in their neighborhood.
