Valorant set to receive a “Ruination Bundle” with patch 3.01 to celebrate League of Legends’ “Sentinels of Light”

Riot Games is preparing a collaborative event between two of its most successful titles, League of Legends and Valorant.

Starting next week, around July 8, the League of Legends “Sentinels of Light” event will begin with a new patch. This patch will feature finishing touches, new skins on the theme of destruction and the legendary champion Akshan, who is drawing inspiration from Indian mythology for his design.

Fortunately, the “Sentinels of Light” event isn’t limited to the spin-off game League of Legends. Along with Wild Rift, Team Fight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra, Valorant will also get some great items.

Cosmetics come to Valorant along with ruins-themed weapons.

It was rumored that a Ruination-themed skin change was possible after Valorant’s new Agent Kay/O crashed on active servers last week.

The show’s Season 3 announcement revealed a glimpse into the cosmetics of some of the weapons that appeared in League of Legends as scattered fog.

The “Sentinels of Light” event in League of Legends revolves around the concept of good and evil. The Sentinels are constantly fighting the forces of darkness, which are slowly taking over all of Runeterra.

Hours ago, Mike from ValorLeaks, a popular Valorant data miner, revealed that Ruination-themed skins aren’t just rumors, but should arrive in the shooter with the next update.

Mike wrote:

“VALORANT will be getting a package of ruins based on League of Legends. We’ll probably see this package around July 8th, since that’s when the League event starts. It’s currently known that the package includes Guardians. Also, Vega’s sword is cool.”

Riot Games has yet to provide any official details about the upcoming Ruination package. However, with the new update right around the corner, players will be able to get a little more information before the patch goes live.
