Tow Truck Driver Shooting Leads To Police Lockdown At Hulen Mall

TOWN (CBSDFW.COM) – A tow truck driver was released and police swarmed Hollin Mall late Tuesday morning in southeast Fort Worth as suspects lay in wait.

The incident began around 11:30 a.m. when police received a report of a shooting that occurred at an apartment complex in the 5000 block of Vermilion Drive.

But when they came, they found no victim, but no crime.

A short time later, police informed Salt to the officer that he worked at a company store in the 300 block of Bolins Road in Kennedale.

The driver was taken to the hospital, police said. His immediate condition is not known.

The suspect was later seen shooting, and officers gave chase, police said. A short chase into Hollin Mall.
