When you think of a Bluetooth tracker, you might think of a small keychain attachment, usually with a hole in it. However, these classic tiles have their limitations. If you want to keep track of your favorite charger or trusty remote, you’re probably looking for something else. Stickers are the answer to tiles. Let’s take a look at the performance in our Tile Stickers (2022) review.

As with all of Tile’s Bluetooth trackers, the sticker design has been completely updated for 2022. The new tracker now has a flat side so the sticker looks a bit like a hockey puck. Also, every time you track the sticker, you’ll need to mute the ring using the side-mounted button. As you can see there are no punch holes to put stickers on, but the back panel is self-adhesive so you can stick it to anything around your house. That’s why it’s called a tile sticker!
Many of the tile trackers Apple AirTag and Samsung Galaxy SmartTag face-to-face tile stickers are for slightly different audiences. It matches its competitors in price, but if you decide to trade the punch holes for a sticker back, you probably won’t be putting tile stickers on your keys, bag or pet collar. On the bright side, the Tile app works on both, so you still have ecosystem flexibility to choose between Android and iOS.

As always, you should subscribe to Tile Premium to get all the great features. It costs $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year if you want smart alerts (notifies you when you leave your tracker somewhere) and 30 days of location history. Tile Premium also includes free battery replacement for older tiles, but doesn’t include the latest tile stickers (2022) like other tile trackers with 3-year batteries. Get up to $100 in item reimbursement with a subscription, or up to $1,000 with a $99.99 Tile Premium Protect subscription.
Tile will be acquired by Life 360, a company suspected of selling user data while traveling. Loose privacy laws. The sale is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022. The existing Tile team will remain, and Life360 has announced that it has no plans to sell Tile user data. However, here are some things to know before investing in the Tile ecosystem.

Tile stickers demonstrate their value as the smallest member of the tile family. It’s only a quarter the size, so it can be easily attached to most items around the house. It’s attached to the Nvidia Shield TV remote control (see above) and doesn’t interfere with the buttons. The tile stickers rely on a small adhesive pad on the back panel, which has saved my experience so far.
