(WXYZ) – Michigan State University students joined forces Saturday to search for missing 18-year-old Brandon Santo, who was last seen on the university’s campus late Friday.
A Facebook post announced that people would gather at the MSU Union Building between 11 a.m. and 1 a.m. and search through the evening.
Police say they are searching the Red Cedar River near Brandon’s last known location.
Each participant will receive a map.
“Please remember that the police have asked all volunteers to leave the river for your safety so as not to hinder their efforts. If you do a trail, be sure to get here from the river bank. Please make sure to stay warm tomorrow and wear your walking shoes,” she said.
Parking is free at the MSU Union Talk 49 Abbot Rd, East Lansing, MI 48824 and ramp 6.
