Sean O’Malley praised the Twitter exchange between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz after Charles Oliveira defeated Dustin Poirier to retain the lightweight title.

Diaz’s younger brother criticized Poirier for his performance at UFC 269 and lashed out at McGregor for losing two fights in a row to ‘The Diamond’. The former two-division champion said Poirier was lucky to win both fights and described his performance as “embarrassing”. McGregor wrote:
