Scosche MagicMount Dash is a car phone holder to attach to the dashboard and hold the device in place. Instead of using traditional physical restraints, magnets are used to hold the device in the desired position and orientation.
The box comes with a mount and adhesive side. It also includes two metal plates that attach to the device and an extra 3M double-sided tape for replacement or if you need to move the mount to another vehicle. It also has a protective film to keep your electronics free from sticky residue.
This accessory measures 19 x 13.5 x 30 cm and is available in black only. The original MSRP is $19.99, but you can buy it from Amazon for $11.99 (at time of writing).

When choosing car accessories, aesthetics are often an important issue. Thankfully, this is one of the Scosche MagicMount Dash’s greatest strengths. Black color suits most environments. It’s also so small that you won’t even know it’s there unless you’re looking for it.

The back plate is made of rubber, making it soft for expensive electronics. Adding a protective film between the plate and your smartphone is also a nice touch. This makes it easy to remove the metal plate every time you switch phones (or mounts).
Construction is very simple. Has a single ball head with adjustable angle. There is also a convenient clip on the back plate for cable management. I also like that there are some curved grooves in these areas that are attached to the surface of the car. This allows the Scosche MagicMount Dash to better fit the attached surface area, even if it is a curved dashboard. Plus, you can easily mount anywhere except the dashboard. This is an important consideration (check your local law) as it can be dangerous if you place the mount incorrectly in front of the windshield and in some cases it is illegal.
