The Auto-Empty Dock is a first-party accessory for a Roborock S7 vacuum cleaner that reduces the time it takes to empty the bin. The dock measures 22.3 x 15.8 x 9.5 inches and weighs about 20 pounds. A small ramp allows the vacuum cleaner to climb onto the dock to charge and empty the device compartment.

When the Roborock S7 returns to the dock, the vacuum cleaner determines if the dust bin on the device needs to be emptied based on the cleaning pattern. When your Roborock S7 is set to automatically vacuum, dust is pumped into the dock’s 3L bag and sent through a HEPA filter to prevent it from entering your home. Rubrock claims that the average user only needs to empty the trash once every eight weeks.

The Auto Empty Dock is available in white and black models, but both models are currently sold out on the Amazon, Walmart, and Roborock websites.

The Roborock S7 and the Auto-Empty Dock make a pretty hefty pair, and while it may seem difficult to set up, it’s far from the truth. When you open the auto-empty dock, all you have to do is screw the lamp into the twin cylinder section with a screwdriver, replace the trash on the device, and place the Rubrock S7 on the charging electrode. Aside from these few simple steps, there’s basically nothing in the way of overhead.

This is clever. If your Roborock S7 is automatically set to empty, you don’t even have to think about the trash. The vacuum cleaner predicts when to vacuum based on the size of the space and cleaning habits. You can set a manual option that determines how often your S7 automatically drains, but I’ve found the “smart” option to work pretty well so far.

You can also avoid loud noises by setting a “do not disturb” quiet time where the S7 can still vacuum, but not poison. If you want to vacuum other rooms in your home while you sleep, but don’t want to be woken up by the sound of vacuuming, the best…
