SPRING (CBS) — Workers have been removed one by one at parking kiosks, months after the Department of Conservation and Recreation placed them along River Beach.

Anger over DCR’s metered parking program sparked protests and a few days after our investigation, the DCR-I-team agreed to provide some parking spaces for residents.

But the injury and investigation are ongoing. Just a few weeks ago, the Legislature introduced a bill that would require DCR to obtain city or state council approval before accessing public street parking.
