Participating by purchasing a ticket, Pokemon GO’s The Tour left the borders of the Kanto region and reached Johto with Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal.
On top of the virtual Pokemon GO experience, The Pokemon GO Tour event will also feature live events at select locations on February 27. In the current iteration of the Johto Tour, players who purchase tickets will be able to choose between the Pokemon Gold or Silver versions to enhance their experience and encounter special versions of Pokemon and ways to encounter Selby. Pokemon Go: Johto Tour Details
As previously stated, Pokemon GO trainers who purchase tickets for the Johto Tour (currently priced at $11.99) will choose between Pokemon Gold or Silver for their event, which means trainers can trade Might need a friend or two to catch all the Pokemon with. Free Players who do not purchase tickets can still enjoy parts of the event for free. From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on February 26th, Pokémon are represented in the Johto region that will appear in the wild as well as spawning eggs, and players can still perform research and Johto-themed quests.
