Paraguay and Bolivia will meet on Tuesday in the 2021 Copa America.

Paraguay lost their last competitive match against Brazil 0-2. Neymar said The Selecao Ahead in the fourth minute before assisting Lucas Piqueta in overtime to help Brazil win a World Cup qualifier.

Paraguay reached the quarter-finals of the competition last time out and Eduardo Berrezo’s side will look to replicate the same or better this time around.

They drew three games in a row before the defeat against the Copa America hosts, but two of those games were promised against Argentina and Uruguay.

Bolivia entered the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Chile. Erik Pulger opened the scoring in the 69th minute, but Marcelo Martínez Moreno scored a shot from play just 13 minutes later to help Bolivia draw.

Paraguay and Bolivia played 15 matches against each other. Paraguay won six games to Bolivia’s four, while five games ended in stalemate.

The two South American teams last met in November 2020. They played out a 2–2 draw, with Angel and Alejandro Romero scoring for the hosts. Marcelo Martinez Moreno and Boris Cespedes scored one each for Bolivia as the match ended in a draw.
