OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro fix that lagging keyboard bug you thought you were imagining

OnePlus’ latest flagship has been on sale for over a month now, and it’s safe to say: reviews have been divided on each device.. Both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro offer a great display and fast performance. There are, but our reviews criticize it respectively. Buggy software and mixed camera quality make it hard to honestly recommend either phone. New system updates have arrived for both devices, and while they don’t offer to fix all bugs, they do provide some much-needed tweaks. .

The patch notes for Oxygen OS 11.2.5.5 are pretty slim and mainly focus on system-level bugs and camera tweaks. Both OnePlus phones have received better charging performance since previous updates, and the rest of the issues will continue to be fixed. Perhaps the most important change here is the resolved keyboard break. Issues raised in the OnePlus 9 Pro review. Meanwhile, the dubious “system stability” improvements have made good strides since they completed a security patch in May.

For cameras, the HDR effect should provide better performance with white balance in images from the rear lens. OnePlus has continued to tweak the camera software with most patches since its release, and these changes should help provide a more consistent photography experience overall.

OnePlus hasn’t posted a changelog on the forum yet, but you can see the full patch notes in the screenshot above. As always, this update is currently limited to India, but will be rolled out to other regions in the future unless there are unexpected bugs.
