The Green Bay Packers surprisingly re-applied Aaron Jones to a four-year deal before he had a chance to hit the free-agent market.
According to Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers are giving Jones a $48 million contract, which would average $12 million per year. The contract also comes with a $13 million signing bonus.
Jones’ future with the Packers appeared to be over after the NFL deadline came and went, a week before the free agent market opened for franchises. The AJ Dillion era was expected to start.

Matt LaFleur believes a great running game is the key to a great offense. He favors defenders, and that’s a big reason why Dillon isn’t a wasted pick.
Dillon is capable of starting, but Green Bay doesn’t need him to.
Dillon is expected to become the primary backup. Admires Green Bay’s cemented run. While there may be drives or even games, Dillon will get a good amount of the bracket.

Williams was also a complementary piece, tallying 97 receptions, 699 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions.
Unfortunately, the Jones deal marks the end of the Williams era with the Packers. Williams will most likely enter free agency as a solid prospect.
Dylan will get into character with an exponential number of shots. The former reserve player had 481 offensive snaps in the regular season and postseason last season and 402 a year ago.
Tandem defenders extend the careers of both players by wearing less. An added advantage at 247 pounds is that the Packers could potentially launch him in the future.
Now that Jones and Dillon will defend Green Bay’s interior in 2021, they have the potential to be one of the best one-two shots in the NFL.
