Meanwhile, their rising star Clyde Edwards Hillier is dealing with an injury, and his availability could be limited throughout the season.
The Chiefs clearly need to make a move, and Marlon Mack could help keep the ship moving towards a deal. The Colts are executing on their postseason hopes after being eliminated from the playoffs in history. Also, their race room is full of talent. In 2018 and 2019, Marlon Mack had two amazing seasons. The running back rushed for 908 yards and nine touchdowns in 2018. In 2019, Mack rushed for 1,091 yards and eight touchdowns. This season, Mack has been replaced by Jonathan Taylor, whose relief pitcher had a 1,000-yard season in 2020.
Marlon Mack also asked the Colts for a trade. Between the Colts’ overload at the position, their rapidly declining prospects, and the demand to trade a player, it only makes sense for the Colts to move away from running back.
