League of Legends preseason 12 bug: Bard’s Meeps are becoming targetable, blocking skillshots and drawing turret agro

Bard Players in League of Legends Over the past few days we’ve encountered an interesting bug. Maps are suddenly suitable for target and block skill shots, and even go as far as drawing aggro domes.

During the game, the bard spawns small ghosts, known as maps, that follow him and swallow him every time he attacks, giving him an extra bonus to magic damage.

They are part of his passive skills, and the developers of League of Legends designed them so that he cannot shoot Skill Shots, Car Attacks, Towers, Allied Skills, or any other form of magic.

However, as pointed out by the aforementioned post on Reddit, it seems that in League of Legends preseason 12, Meeps suddenly became target entities in Summoner’s Rift.

From blocking Thresh’s hooks to killing enemy auto-attacks, the maps also took out the aggro tower. Since they don’t have an HP bar, they can withstand tower hits forever.

The Bard error appears to have occurred after League of Legends patch 11.24 went live a week ago. Some players took advantage of this error to force their Meeps to hit the tower while shooting down.

In Bizlezberry’s Twitch clip above, readers can see just how much exploitation can break in the right hands.

In the YouTube clip above, one of Bard’s Meeps directly blocks a stun from an enemy Xerath, with Lux’s connection and tower punches.

However, this is not the first time this bug has affected the League of Legends live servers. Earlier, developers faced similar problem with Lulu and her pix.

This feat makes Bard very superior, and players are hoping that Riot Games will announce an emergency fix soon or fix it on 11.25.
