How do you plan to take it when one of the most ardent gun advocates in the United States Congress warns that “Facebook will pay the price. Mark my words.”?
If that sounds like a risk to you, you’re not alone.
Indeed, many users of another social media platform—Twitter—became outraged when Congresswoman Lauren Bobert (R-CO), owner of Shooter’s Grill in Rifle, Colorado, talked about extending the ban on Facebook. Hoy posted his angry tweet. Donald Trump posts this morning.
Although Bobert may have realized the violent tone and implications of his post as he quickly deleted the post in favor of a less threatening gesture that did not clearly misrepresent the independent board’s decision. In which social media was outsourced the most. The heated controversy actually recommended that Facebook reconsider its decision to ban Trump in six months.
Despite attempts to delete his previous post, Boibert’s original tweet was long enough for people to give the passionate Colorado lawmaker a piece of his mind.

Lauren Bobert actually deleted the tweet, which contained an outright lie (Facebook did not permanently ban Trump). pic.twitter.com/ASMYeJlLAL

He quickly removed it, but how could a brazen fool get it out of there? He knows it’s offensive or he wouldn’t delete it, but where is the part of his brain that stops him from clicking send? 🙄😕

Meanwhile, while right-wing provocateurs like Rep. Bobert have complained about Facebook’s bias against conservative views, a quick review of the most focused posts on the social media platform showed that their Not only are the allegations completely baseless, but the platform, if any, actually reveals it. Marked bias going to Publishers of the right.
Just look at how biased Facebook is against conservatives 👇 https://t.co/DEKneKrNl6 pic.twitter.com/QBctCGdYkl

Unfortunately. Facts alone will not stop the armed militias that support extremist agents like Congressman Bobert from endlessly whining about how they are harassed through social and other forms of media.
This is why Donald Trump’s decision to continue his Facebook exile was the right decision for the company.
Perhaps social media companies could consider whether even Trump’s most despised allies should be removed from their platforms for continuing to support a big lie. Illegal, stolen elections.
