HP today adds several new devices to its Chrome OS family and monitors certified for Works With Chromebooks. The lineup includes a new Chromebook detachable and all-in-one desktop.
The highlight of this launch is the new HP Chromebook x2 11. HP Chromebook x2 — the company’s first flagship Chrome OS tablet. HP is pairing this sequel with the HP Chromebase 21.5-inch, the world’s first Chromebase system to come with a rotating display.
HP Chromebook x2 11 Specifications, Price and Availability
The HP Chromebook x2 11 comes with an 11-inch 3:2 aspect ratio display with 2K resolution. This time, HP uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c computing platform (first generation, not the recently released second generation). It promises up to 11 hours of battery life. It also comes with a CNC aluminum unibody design and large touchpad with a magnetic keyboard and kickstand with 170-degree positioning. HP Chromebase 21.5 Specifications, Price and Availability
The HP Chromebase 21.5 is an all-in-one desktop that comes with a rotating display with full HD resolution. It can be rotated 90 degrees in portrait and landscape mode and can be adjusted up to 20 degrees.
HP will use Intel Pentium Gold and 10th Gen Intel Core i3 processor for this purpose. You get up to 256GB of SSD storage and up to 16GB of RAM. The base stand of this AIO has dual 5W speakers, 5MP camera and ports tuned by Bang & Olufsen. HP has wrapped the base in fabric to make it child-friendly and easy to clean. A Works With Chromebook includes a certified wireless Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
