Far Cry 6 is full of treasure hunts that you can head to to find some amazing artifacts throughout the Yare.
Treasure hunting is just one way to explore Yarra Island, but it can be the hardest on the mind. They require a lot of patience and some Indiana Jones-like adventure.
Far Cry 6 is a treasure hunt found in Long Drop La Joya. It takes place at a dam at this point and gives you access to a great supply when the hunt is finally over.
How to complete Far Cry 6: The Long Drop
You will be able to find the Long Drop Treasure Hunt on the Far Cry 6 map. It is located in the southwestern part of the La Joya region. Mark the location and follow it to the dam.
After approaching the dam, head towards the small building attached to it. An orange box stands on the wall right next to the door. Interact with this box, read the treasure hunt note.
This will start the long drop treasure hunt in Far Cry 6. Turn right and go down the runway. You’ll come to a large broken area where you can see the worker dying and being grabbed by the leg.
Bypass this area with a ladder or grab point above the broken runway. Now find a control room and head to the roof. Go down to the balcony, look out the window and shoot the lock on the door past you.
Go to that door, enter and search the next room. There is a paper that you can read with a series of tasks that you have to do to power the dam. For these tasks you need:
- Activate the dam controls according to the calendar.
- Press the button on the side of the hydraulic monitoring machines.
- Turn the pressure valve.
- Go back to the main console and press the rear button.

Once all of these Far Cry 6 goals are completed, you can return to the previously broken catwalk. Grab and lower to the worker’s body.
Take the key from the dead worker and climb up. Go to the note that first started the long drop treasure hunt and enter the door. The inner box can be opened with a key and a little grip.
