To add songs to a playlist on Android or iOS:
- Open the Spotify mobile app.
- Go to the song you want to add to your playlist. For example, to add Protostar’s “Galaxys” to my playlist, I would name the song. Mill Tab
- Select ⋮ Tap the button to the right of the song to open the song options.
- select Added to playlistthen select the playlist you want to add songs to.
How to Add Songs to a Spotify Playlist (Desktop and Web Player)

Adding songs to a playlist in the desktop app works exactly like it does in the web player. To add songs to a Spotify playlist in the desktop app or web player:
- Open the Spotify desktop app or web player.
- Go to the song you want to add to your playlist. In this case I left. Mill Searched for “Galaxies” from Protostar in the tab.
- Right-click the song.
- select Added to playlist. All playlists will be displayed on the right side, you can select the playlist you want to add songs to.

Can I add music to a collaborative playlist?
Yes. If you’re contributing to a playlist started by someone else and you have the URL, feel free to add music to that playlist.
When you start a shared playlist, you are free to add music to that playlist.
