How do riots work in GTA San Andreas?

One of the most important parts of GTA San Andreas is the riots in Los Santos, which are still remembered today.

Riots are not only a function of the game, but also play a key role in the story. It is exclusive to GTA San Andreas, which makes the game stand out even more. This happens late in the game and lasts until the last mission. However, players can still activate it by cheating.

How did the riots start?

There is a mission late in the game called Wright. As the name suggests, then the inhabitants of Los Santos go crazy. Officer Frank Tenpenny was acquitted of several crimes, most of them due to a lack of witnesses.

Of course, Los Santos is not happy with this decision. From that moment the whole city will start burning. Los Santos is the only major city affected by these events and the noise will not stop until Tenpenny’s death. This happens in the last GTA San Andreas mission.


What happens during a riot?

First, aggressive walkers will attack the player. Many crimes will be committed in broad daylight, such as shootings and car hijackings. Some NPCs can also be seen running away with the TV. There will also be a large police presence in Los Santos, as well as extensive surface searches.

The sky over Los Santos will turn black as a loud noise is heard. Smoke and fire are common sights on the streets. Fire trucks and ambulances are usually present in these areas. Most of the city is affected by these riots. However, several important areas remain intact, such as Mad Dog Villa.

GTA San Andreas players can still carry out their daily activities. However, this is becoming increasingly difficult to do. For example, dates are often interrupted. Not surprisingly, players have to be very careful in these dangerous situations.

The riot will end after the last mission is completed. Of course, players can still use cheats to activate them. They are as follows:
