Google offers free or discounted Google One subscriptions from time to time. Last year, the company offered free Google Nest Money for subscribers who upgraded to a 2TB storage plan. Save up to $200 on a free Home Mini Pixel 3 series for subscribers in the US and Canada last year.This year, Google will send an email to eligible customers. Nest Hub (2nd Generation) if you are “Upgrading to Premium Annual Plan”.
More specifically, select customers must upgrade to the 2TB Google One plan by paying $100 per year to qualify for Nest Hub. Google also pays for shipping. The Nest Hub itself costs $99.99, and a One Plan upgrade allows users to get 10% cash back on their Google Store purchases along with free Google VPN service on Android and iOS, which is a great deal. You can also share storage space by adding family members to your family group.
It is not clear whether users who do not receive these emails from Google are also eligible for this offer.
When you upgrade to the 2TB Google One plan, you’ll receive a coupon code from Google within a week to use your free Nest Hub (2nd gen). Code is valid until December 24th. The offer will last until December 10 and is available to customers in the US, Canada, UK and Germany.
It is not clear if this offer is valid for the 5TB One annual plan. The 10TB, 20TB and 30TB Google One storage plans are not available as annual subscriptions. Subscribers already on the 2TB plan are unfortunately out of luck.
