FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) has been eliminated from League of Legends World 2021 after losing four games in the second round.
FPX was considered a team that should have topped Group A and finished in the top three of the final standings at the 2021 World Cup. However, FPX fell behind and eventually lost quite disastrously to both Rogue and Cloud9 and were ignominiously eliminated.
FPX outperformed both Rogue and Cloud9 and neither team had to work hard. FPX failed to meet the criteria and target, which eventually led to their downfall.
