Four teens charged with attempted first-degree murder after shooting in Colorado high school parking lot

The shooting happened around noon on Nov. 19 in the parking lot of Hinckley High School in Aurora, police said. Three people were injured.

Jefferson also faces charges of using a prohibited high-capacity magazine during a crime.

CNN reached out to the public defender’s offices in Arapahoe and Aurora for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.

Jefferson and Brewer will have state hearings in their cases on Dec. 15. Flores’ state hearing is set for March 7.

Two of those shot are Hinckley students and the third is a student at APS Avenue School. Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

At the time of the shooting, police said a motive had not been identified.
