In another massive WWE release, newlywed Superstar Eva Marie was reportedly released from her contract.
He confirmed. Shawn Ross Sapp via his Twitter from Fightfull That the woman behind Eva-Lution was released from her contract on November 4, 2021. He also confirmed in a later tweet that John Laurinaitis had sent an email citing budget cuts as the reason for this new round of releases.
She joins the list of female wrestling superstars published by WWE in the past 18 months. This new round of cuts features Mia Yim, Ember Moon, Franky Monet, B-Fab from Hit Row, Scarlett Bordeaux and Nia Jax.
Eve Marie’s year in WWE is coming to an end.
PWInsider reported in October 2020 that Eva Marie had signed a contract to return to WWE. In June 2021, he was heavily promoted before joining the RAW brand and forming a team with former Piper Nevin, now known as Doudrop. Marie faced Alex Bliss at SummerSlam before being sidelined from TV due to injury so she could take time off to begin film production.
