Luke Rockhold has had some setbacks in his UFC career, but his popularity among women is probably as strong as ever. Among the list of women the 36-year-old UFC fighter has been in a relationship with – some famous, some not so much – Hollywood pop star Demi Lovato is one name that definitely stands out.
Luke Rockhold and Demi Lovato briefly dated in 2016 and split after a few months. But there is obviously no bad blood between the two.
Demi Lovato reportedly started seeing Luke Rockhold after her breakup with longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, and at the time both parties were interested in a casual fling. The pair have been spotted together on several occasions, including UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden in New York, where Conor McGregor made history by defeating Eddie Alvarez, becoming the first two-time UFC champion.
Despite wanting to keep things light, Luke Rockhold and Demi Lovato still got appropriate little smiley emoji tattoos on their little fingers.
Asked by TMZ in 2017, if he regrets getting a tattoo now that he’s split from Demi Lovato, Luke Rockhold responded by saying that several of his friends had the same ink.
In 2018, Luke Rockhold addressed his relationship with the former Disney star in a piece he aspired to on Sports Sound:
“I recently went back to gossip from sports sites when I was dating Demi Lovato … I was at the gym and watching him train. He’s passionate. He’s talented. I accept him. Leah and we waited a little bit. Anytime you get someone like that – I admire passionate women driving women – it’s beautiful. And it was fun for me at the time and she’s still a good girl. is,” wrote Luke Rockhold.

Luke Rockhold hasn’t been going too well in the UFC lately, losing three of his last five fights. His last two outings were loss efforts against Yule Romero and John Blachowicz. Previously, his five-fight winning streak was brutally snapped by Michael Bisping with a first-round knockout in their rematch at UFC 199 two years ago.
Luke Rockhold has not fought since a 2019 loss to Jan Blachowicz, the current UFC light heavyweight champion. But in a recent post on Instagram, she discussed a comeback. He also claimed that he was approached by recently retired former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, wanting to train him for a comeback.
