The last major Pokemon GO event, Rival Week, left the community with four new Pokemon: Clauncher, Skrelp and their respective evolutions.
While players may already be tired of searching for these water Pokemon, some are still looking for a Clauncher or two. By doing this, one can wonder if there is a perfect type for a Pokemon.
Can players catch the mighty Clauncher in Pokemon GO?
The short answer is: no. Players cannot catch the mighty Clauncher in Pokemon GO.
The majority (if not all) of the new Pokemon in Pokemon GO don’t debut with a strong type already in effect. Given that Clauncher was released just eight days ago, it’s unlikely that he currently has the best version. There is also no information on when the grand version might be published.
However, if the great Clauncher is released one day, it will be important to know how to follow and capture it.
As a water Pokemon, Clauncher is mostly found in lakes, such as rivers, ponds, and lakes. Using incense near these areas and placing bait at a nearby pokestop or two will help lure the Pokemon out of the crab.
After that, it’s as easy as catching. Players can throw out Razz Berries, knock out Ultra Balls, and aim a wicked curveball towards the center of the circle.
Any of the above information also applies to Skrelp, the follower of Clauncher’s Rivals’ Week Pokemon.
Skrillip is not a very large version and is often found in places where other water Pokemon are.
