Bulbasaur is one of the many Pokemon that has been around since the launch of Pokemon GO. This type of grass and poison Pokemon is a fan favorite among many Pokemon GO trainers and is one of the companions that a trainer can choose as their first friend in the game.
There are three Pokemon in the Bulbasaur family, Bulbasaur evolves into Eyesaur with 25 candies, and can then evolve into Venusaur with 100 candies. Mega Venusaur is also available through Mega Energy, and is a great Pokemon when you fight Pokemon types that fight with Water and Electricity.
Bulbasaur is a great candidate for the elemental cup in Pokemon GO, being the first evolved Pokemon. However, this type of Pokémon is weak against Grass and Poison-type Psychic, Flying, Fire, and Ice species.
Finding an Awesome Bulbasaur in Pokemon GO
Although the trainer can find Bulbasaur in the wild, they are also available in 2 km eggs. They usually grow in sylvan, grassy areas such as parks, trails, forests, etc.
The Great Bulbasaur is available to those who seek it, but the odds are slim. However, Spotlight Hour takes place on July 6 between 6pm and 7pm local time, increasing the chances of reaching the shiny version greatly due to the amount of spawning.
The great version of Bulbasaur is very similar to the normal version, with the only difference being another green color. It doesn’t make it very exciting for those who hunt the great forms of each Pokemon, but it’s still a good hunt.
