He told CNN Tuesday evening that he had spoken to his parents for about two weeks, and in their last interview, they did not discuss Laundry or the Petto investigation because the parents’ attorney urged them not to. Gave them not to talk to anyone.
Petito was found dead in the Wyoming National Forest on Sept. 19, 18 days after authorities say Brian Laundry returned to his parents’ home in Florida after a crossroad trip that summer.
His parents told authorities that after he was reported missing on Sept. 11, he left Laundry’s Florida home on Sept. 14 and has not been seen since.
The coroner’s government initially ruled the deaths a homicide last month.
The family claims they repeatedly tried to contact the laundry.
The girl’s father, Joe Petito, said he had texted Laundrey’s mother several times before and said she eventually reported that his daughter was absent.

Petiteto’s mother, Nicole Schmidt, initially said she would lose to Laundry and Petiteto until they reported that those individuals were absent and that the most learned plaintiff’s family was unemployed in Florida.

When asked by guest Phil McGrath if he thought Laundrey knew where his son was, Schmidt said he knew he “knew a lot more information than he sent out there.”
“Somebody should talk,” he said.
CNN has reached out to Laundrey’s family attorney, Steven Bertolino, for comment.
In late September, Landry’s parents released a statement through their attorney, saying “Chris and Roberta Landry do not know where Brian is. They are concerned about Brian and hope that F.B. I can find him. Some public speculation in the press that Brian’s parents have helped Brian’s parents leave the family home or avoid arrest for bail.
