Bill Maher, host of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” called what he sees as a stark difference in editorial decisions among news organizations.
Speaking to CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Wednesday night, Maher spoke about former President Donald Trump’s handling of the Republican Party and called the former president “all the wrong you can put into somebody.”
Cuomo said Republicans believe political insiders and the media have “made up too much” about Trump.
Maher mentioned Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, who has spoken about his struggles with addiction and made headlines about laptops.
“Something like Hunter Biden, I mean, if Don, Jr. did what Hunter Biden did, it would be on MSNBC all night, all night,” Maher said.

He added, “But the fact that it’s a Biden and Joe is on the blue team — see, that’s the problem in America, everything is binary. Everything that the red team doesn’t like goes in the blue box. And vice versa.

Maher then said, “So, you know, every Democratic politician has to wear on their sleeve every stupid, stupid woke thing that pendulum does. And the Red Team has to wear kids in prisons and, you know, , turn it off and everything like that.
