The incident was caught on camera the following week during a game between the Mars Fighting Planets and the Armstrong Riverhawks at the Belmont Ice Complex in Keating. Armstrong’s fans can be heard singing folk and sexist expressions to The Martian Lady.
Many people who were watching and listening to “Live Barn” on Facebook and online forums reacted enthusiastically. A tired and strange song.

School district superintendent Armstrong said students in the district were involved in the chants, and were able to bar them from future games. Leaders said they were “concerned” and that they “didn’t personally like how we want our students to behave.”
The deputy superintendent added that he also reached out to the Martin School District to apologize to the goaltender and the school administration.
KDKA reached out to the Belmont Ice Complex, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League, and the school district on Tuesday. We look forward to hearing from them again.
