There is good evidence that San Ferro is the most prestigious city in GTA San Andreas.
This is CJ’s second major city tour in GTA San Andreas. While Los Santos is the game’s first and last location, San Fierro seems more normal and small by comparison. Even Los Venturas feels great and superior.
However, there is still an aura of grandeur that surrounds San Ferro. No city in GTA San Andreas is bad to visit, and San Fierro is no exception. It’s a really fun city to explore in the game, and that’s mainly because of its differences compared to other big cities in gta: san andreas.
Five Reasons Why San Ferro is a Great City in GTA San Andreas
5) Export and import

Each GTA San Andreas city has something unique that a player can only do at that location. In San Ferro, players could import and export vehicles. As the name suggests, imports cost them some money, and exports earn them some cash.
Note: Only pre-exported vehicles can be imported. Of course, GTA San Andreas players can’t just report any vehicle they see. I can only report those that appear on the board.
This feature rewards attentive players and gives them an excuse to explore all of San Andreas.
4) Good San Francisco vibes

This reason is unusual, but still completely legitimate. Anyone who has been to the city in real life can see the similarities between San Ferro and San Francisco (as if the initials weren’t obvious enough). If they like a location in real life, they’ll probably like a fictional location too.
San Ferro has two cult bridges that look like real life, but the general architecture of the two cities is the same. San Ferro is distinctly different from the way Los Santos and Los Venturas feel as the player explores the three cities.
Also, the countryside is quite different in comparison.
3) It feels like the most ordinary city in GTA San Andreas.
Los Santos has a lot of problems. Some of these range from gang violence to verbal riots. In comparison, Las Venturas acts like a normal city in a desert setting, except for being riddled with mafia problems.
In the case of San Ferro, it has the classic gang issues that some GTA fans will see in older games, except with a more familiar climate. There are no flashy casinos in San Fierro either.
Everything seems more subdued in San Ferro compared to other locations in GTA San Andreas, and that’s part of what makes it so refreshing.
2) It is the smallest city in GTA San Andreas.

Being the smallest city is an honor but also a pity. It all depends on what the player values…
