Speed testing is a useful tool. You can show if you’re getting the speed you’re paying for, if it helps diagnose internet problems, and it’s fun to use occasionally. Most people know about Okla’s speed test. However, there are many other items to consider. Most of the speed test apps on the Play Store work fine, but they perform better than others. Here are the best speed test apps for Android. I’m trying to measure my internet speed on Wi-Fi, but I don’t always get the fastest speed. Even if your router isn’t visible to your phone, you’ll still know if WiFi 6 is available. Not only can you test your speed, but you can also identify potential problems with this app. A $1.99 fee removes ads and has an optional subscription for advanced features if you want.

Fast is Netflix’s speed test app. This is one of the best free speed test apps available anywhere. It has a simple and easy UI and a simple feature set. Just open it, run it and check the speed. It’s good not only because there are no ads, but also because it’s generally pretty accurate. Also, if you get good speeds here, you likely won’t have a problem streaming Netflix. However, this feature does not have advanced features, so for those who need more data, I would suggest skipping this feature.
